The conveyor pulley surface could be treated in different ways according to specific environments and occasions. The treatment methods are divided into the following types:
1. Galvanization
Galvanization is suitable for the industrial equipment used in light industry, instrumentation, electromechanical industry, agricultural machinery, national defense industry, etc. As the most common way for pulley surface treatment at present, it is really environmental-friendly and has following characteristics compared with traditional galvanizing:
(1) Use no toxic cyanide, so the generated waste water can be treated easily.
(2) The coating has fine crystallization, good gloss, and the dispersing ability and deep plating ability are close to those of cyanide plating solution, which is suitable for electroplating of parts with complex shapes.
(3) Stable plating solution and convenient operation
(4) No corrosion to equipment
(5) Low cost
2. Chromeplate
Decorative chromium is mainly used in automobiles, bicycles, household hardware, household appliances, instrument switches, mechanical parts and other equipment and facilities.Chromium decoration using nickel, nickel chromium technology to ensure product quality. The surface is silver white, decorated with chrome with strong corrosion resistance and good decorative effect, with a high reflective coefficient.
3. Rubber covering
The metal steel pipe is coated with rubber, then vulcanized to form rubber cover pulley. Compared with the ordinary pulley, the rubber covering pulley has the characteristics of being elastic, wear resistance, acid and alkali resistance, oil resistance (NBR), temperature resistance and rust proof etc; Imported raw materials and adhesives are used. Natural rubber and NBR are commonly used. Black, green and light gray are recommended colors.
4. Hard chrome plating
Hard chromium is also known as wear-resistant chromium, the treatment can increase the surface hardness of the pulley, improve wear resistance, temperature and corrosion resistance, used in mechanical mold, plastic mold, corrosion resistant valves, printing, textile and paper making pulley processing and measuring tools, the surface is silver white.
